Super Junior “Mr. Simple” Album Sales To Exceed 300,000 Copies Soon
Super Junior 5th album “Mr Simple” album sales is about to exceed 300 000 copies. Super Junior “Mr Simple” album released on the 3rd of August ranked first on the monthly Gaonchart in the month of August. A total of 287 427 copies of the album were sold out in the month of August, becoming one of the very few who manage to reach over 200 000 copies sales record other than TVXQ 5th album “(Why) Keep your head down”. The album “Mr Simple”, released 1 year and 2 months after the 4th album arouses great attention not only in Korea but in the whole of Asia. Furthermore, the main song “Mr Simple” ranked 4th in August on Gaonchart National Digital Singles.

According to Gaon charts on 9th September, “Mr Simple” which was released on 3th August, has sold 287,427 copies. Only DBSK’s official fifth album “Keep Your Head Down” has managed to sell over 200,000 copies this year. “Mr Simple”, which was released 1 year and 2 months after the fourth album, had already gained much attention from fans all over the world.
Infinite’s first official album “Over The Top” was placed second, which managed to sell 19,302 copies in one month, and an overall record of 48,165 copies in the year 2011. Leessang’s seventh album “AsuRa BalBalTa” was ranked 3rd, with sales reaching 14,222 copies. The song “Turn Off The TV” was ranked 1st for sales in August, while the main song “My Answer Is You” was 8th. “Grand Final” was ranked 17th, and “Remembrance” was 18th, putting up a tough fight.
In addition, T-ara’s repackaged album “Roly-Poly in Copacabana” was ranked 4th, which sold 13, 122 copies. “I am a Singer” was placed 5th with 13, 095 copies.

Super Junior is #1 in album sales for month of August
Super Junior came storming back to the industry with their fifth album, “Mr. Simple“, on August 2nd, and unsurprisingly, they took 1st place in album sales for the month of August.
Gaon Chart just released the top album sales for the entire month of August, revealing that Super Junior came in first with 287,427 albums sold.
INFINITE, who made their debut just last year, secured second place on the chart with their 1st album, ”Over The Top” with 19,302 copies sold. Third place went to hip hop duo, Leessang, who’s been dominating the digital charts with their 7th album, ”AsuRa BalBalTa“.
